Ey. I have a 14 week old Siamese x British blue kitten. Since I got him he did eat a lot. He didn't gain much weight so I started giving him Nutrostim
Nutrostim - for cats who got surgery and is unable to eat and for sick cats that doesn't want to eat.

He enjoyed licking it off my finger for the first week but didn't want to eat it anymore. He is on kitten Royal Canine and cooked chicken . He only eats like a few pebbles a day. He is really skinny but seems healthy oh and for some reason he can't meow . He meows really softly and sometimes nothing comes out. I told the vet and she said I shouldn't worry. Just wanted to get more opinions.

Thank you

A couple of questions for the eating aspect.

How long have you had him? Do you know what food he was eating before coming to you? Is he not gaining weight because you've actually weighed him or because he looks skinny? What is his current weight? Is he free feeding or scheduled feeding? How much food do you give him?

The meowing is a non-issue. Essentially, meowing is a learned behavior to communicate with humans. If you watch a feral colony with no human interaction you would find that aside from kittens and mating they are pretty quiet. Take it as a compliment that your kittens needs are being met enough to not feel the need to make noises for attention.

I have him for 8 weeks. They said he was on royal canine but even when he was with them he didn't really want to eat. He is 1.5kg. He is skinny but long . He has food at all times. I leave food out so that he can eat when he is hungry not sure if that might be a bad thing. I give him chicken every 2 to 3 day only once. But he only eats a few pieces and walks away

I just found the meowing strange. Never had a kitten that didn't meow. He will meow when I'm busy with the chicken but it is so soft that I can barely hear him. Maybe thought something was wrong with his vocals but he purrs loudly and he is really obidient. He will sit in front of you when you are eating and if he doesn't get anything he will just walk away. Most of the kittens I had I had to teach them manners they will usually grab the food out of my hand. This one grabs really slowly and softly and only if I offer.. He was like this when I got him. Very quiet

I presume he's from a breeder? Many cats who are born outside will not meow because their mothers taught them to be silent so as not to attract attention. My Looby Loo, who is a nervous cat, has only recently started to meow. She was born outside & was outside for 3 months. Sounds like this is not the case with your cat.

Of my 3 cats. Link never stops meowing or making noise (I swear he talks to himself somethings with his constant chriping, thrilling, and meows). He is a Siamese mix who I got at 5 weeks old. Nightfury is a black cat we found abandoned at 3 weeks old and he barely squeaks maybe once a month. Then there is Rocket who I got from a feral colony at about 4 months old. She does these random meows maybe once a week if I don't notice her cues right away.

I'd try a different food. It sounds like he is not a big fan of that one. But he could also be eating when you aren't around. Rocket has scared me a few times when she stops eating when I am around. Both the meowing and eating when no one is looking are habits in kittens raised outdoors typically.

I have tried different foods. He doesn't want to eat any of them. He digs at them like it is a litter tray [emoji]128584[/emoji]. He doesn't even want to eat wet food . I tried the cans and packets. I gave him fancy feast as well then he would just taste and move it away with his head. He is a stubborn little one, no he wasn't from a breeder got him at a friend of mine and he was raised indoors even now he doesn't go outside he would just sit at the front door and watch. He like the milky pellets that comes with whiskas but they don't sell that separately . but he will also just eat a few and sniff it and walk away
