cat refuses to eat

my cat started to refuse eating so i decided to take it to the vet , after the vet took care of him , he kept refusing to eat but only drink water , it has been 3 days since the vet visit so i took him today again , and yet he still refuses to eat .

my question is , should i force feed my cat , or should i just leave him until he decides to eat again byhimself

What is the vet doing for him?  He absolutely needs to be eating at this point, so syringing some food into him might be the best bet.

the vet injected him with 2 syringes the first visit , and another 2 this day , as for syringe feeding him i will see what i can do

What are the syringes?  What does the vet think is wrong?

he thinks that he might have ate something that caused the cat stomach  problems , as for the syringes he injected to him i don't know , i forgot to mention that lately alot of cat owners brought their cats to the vet , and their problem is not wanting to eat , some of them said that because it's winter , there is a cat virus spreading and causing cats to have these kind of sickness
