I would ask your vet about the cranberry.  I have looked this up on the internet in the past and found conflicting info.  Some sites will say yes and that it can help, others say it doesn't help and others say no, that it can be detrimental for cats.

Pepcid won't help.  Pepcid does the same thing for kitties that it does for people, it reduces acid in the stomach.

There are cat treats with cranberry in them that supposedly help with urinary health. There are also various other cat products and supplements for urinary health. You can ask the vet about using these. I wouldn't give diluted cranberry juice. Cranberry juice is pretty tart and I don't think a cat would like the taste of it. Some brands of juice contain other juices and sugars and stuff that a cat doesn't need. Grape juice can be included and grapes in general are toxic to cats.

Most cats with urinary issues can just eat a commerical canned cat food instead of prescription food. The key is to get more water into the cat to keep the urinary system working optimally. Th easiest way to do that is to feed canned food, extra water added optional. You can read more about diet and urinary issues here: http://catinfo.org/feline-urinary-tract-diseases/

i would think cranberry is more for urinary infections? the treats and cranberry powder sold for pets is usually marketed for infections not crystals but idk if others have found success with crystals using cranberry

here's a direct quote from the 'cranimals' product description  (a cranberry extract product that's expensive but apparently works well, but i've never used it)
Cranberries contain proanthocyanidins (PAC's) which inhibit the adhesion of Escherichia coli, the bacteria responsible for 80-90% of urinary tract infections.

Look at giving him a d-mannose supplement, which is the ingredient in cranberries that assists with urinary health.

NO on cranberry juice, don't give human foods and drinks to cats, most products contain ingredients cats cannot metabolize.  Many of them toxic to cats.

Depending on the type of crystals and any other associated issues, depends on the treatment. I'm sure your vet discussed this with you.  Why are you asking about other things that have nothing to do with your kitty's condition?  Listen to your vet, follow his advice and direction.  Ask him for a client handout to help you understand the seriousness of crystals, and the necessary appropriate treatment.  Your vet knows what he's doing, and your kitty needs his appropriate treatment.
