Can terbinafine cause muscle/joint pain in cats?

My kittens have been on terbinafine for almost 3 weeks for ringworm. For the past week, I have noticed that they are not playing as much, and they seem to not want to jump up or off of things, as if their back legs are weak or sore.  I looked up side effects of this medication, and muscle and joint pain is listed as a side effect for humans. Does anyone know if this can happen with cats that take this medication?  They are also recovering from miliary dermatitis which is a side effect of the ringworm.  This has been horrible.  I just want them to feel better.  Their skin is dry, flaky, and peeling from the dermatitis, so I can't tell if there are any ringworm lesions or not.  We don't go back to the vet until Saturday, but I'm going to call tomorrow to get in earlier.  I want to stop either the oral medication or the twice weekly baths/dips.

I don't have any experience with this type of medication for cats, but from the various things I have read about it the side effects are more related to nausea and some risks of building up liver toxins.  It seems more likely that your kittens being less active will be down to their not feeling well both due to the infections and any presenting nausea from the drugs and treatment they have had.   Although you can not get to see the vet until Monday, if you are worried about your kittens is it possible to talk things through with the vet over the phone?

We were actually due back on Saturday, but I am getting them in this afternoon since they have an opening.  I really didn't want to wait until Saturday since they just are not acting like themselves.  I'm hoping the vet has some answers today.  I would love to be told that we can stop one of the treatments or at least stop the isolation.  They are so sad in the bathroom, and I hate having to keep them in there.  This whole thing has been a nightmare.  When purchasing cats, I didn't think I was going to get ringworm along with them.  :(  I want to be able to enjoy the kittens, and right now we really can't.  I'm just thankful I got two of them. At least they have each other even though we can't spend as much time with them.
