I'll bet he's already made buddies with my mom's cat Tigey, who looked like his identical twin and would have been around the same age.
How right you are!
My Tom, who was a ginger cat too, was friend to all cats, I'm sure he was there to give Artie a warm welcome and lead him to the best place, where there's the best food.
Tom's age was uncertain, but I reckon he would have had Artie's age today.

Sweet, sweet boy Artie, the fight may be over, but the battle was won! You are a true soldier our little trooper, Artie! You fought the good fight and will be victorious in all of your army's hearts forever. Your mommy never gave up on you and loved and cared for you with every breath she took!! God bless you both.

Cindy, I am so very sorry for the loss of your sweet boy. RIP Artie. Just as so many of Artie's Army have already said, I loved you too, sweet baby. Now he is playing in the beautiful fields of Heaven with lots of new friends.
Cindy, you are the most dedicated, loving, cat Mom I've ever known. Thank you for the privilege of sharing yours and Artie's journey with us. You have hundreds, probably thousands, of friends here which will never change.
Peace and Love,
Lisa

I am so sorry for the loss of Artie. I have read your story from start to finish after you gave me some advice, and you are an incredible cat mama. No one could have done more than you did for your boy. What a wonderful life he was able to have with you.

I want to thank each and everyone of Artie's Army, for your support, condolences, thoughts, prayers.. and LOVE..

The outpouring has been incredible.
Thank you.. from the bottom of my heart.

I never knew this thread was so popular. It amazes me. I started it as a support/information kind of thread/blog.

The amount of people who have been following is just incredulous.. I cannot fathom the extent. Thank you..

Anne Anne and the moderators graciously allowed me to continue it, forever.. I will always be grateful for this.

While I cannot personally thank everyone, individually; I have been purraising your loving posts. Hope that serves as an acknowledgment of the love I feel for each one of you.

I have no regrets.. I am mourning the loss of my best friend... but I have no regrets..
I know I have done as much as I could to help and love Artie.. He knew it.. I realize that. He did not want to let go..

The future is uncertain. I am still here on The CatSite.. I am reading posts.. I have not been up to posting. I am just at a loss..

The grief is more selfish.. as in 'what am I going to do now?" Most of my time was devoted to taking care of Artie.. He returned that love with what he knew best: Unconditional Love.. never forget.. love is the answer to things.. He loved me...

Now, as with all threads, it comes time to close this one..

Some day, I may write in the Rainbow Bridge Area... I have to see how I feel, collect my thoughts, and try to type through the tears..

I may even start a different thread? Who Knows??

Again, It is time for this thread to close..
Time to move on.. Artie would want that..
He always lived in the moment.. and I should follow that example.

Thank you again,
Love,
Cindy
