Ok last night my 2 bigger dogs charged in my room and chased Oreo. As soon as I got the 2 big dogs out I checked on Oreo. She had a small wet spot on her side ( small than a quarter) but no blood, bite marks, or any other visible injuries. So we went to bed. She didn't come sleep with me all night like she usually does. This morning she was hiding in the closet. She got up and went in the bathroom and vomited a thin brown fluid. I checked for blood and didn't see anything. She is walking a little stiff so I know she is at the very least achy. I offered her a can of food but she looks disinterested. I won't have a vehicle till 4 tonight and the closest vet is almost an hour away. Is there anything I can do for her till my husband gets home with the vehicle? I have her in a quiet room with several dark areas she can rest in.

I don't think there is anything to do except get her to the vet as soon as you can. It could be internal.

All she is doing is laying on the foot of my bed. I haven't seen her eat or drink anything so far today but I have also been trying to let her rest. This is the longest day waiting for the truck so I can get her to the vet.

She is still at the vet. I can call and check on her in about 30 mins. This is killing me not having her home. As off yesterday she still had not eaten.

I just got home from visiting her. She had thrown up yesterday afternoon again. Last night she found a way to get out of her kennel and hid. She came out when I called her. We fed her some baby food chicken by syringe, she got 3 more shots, and lots of love. I will go back tomorrow and see how she is doing and feed her more and more shots. The lump I felt Monday is not an injured organ it is a bad bruise that is starting to heal. She is alert and interested in exploring. I hope to get to bring her home in the next day or two, as long as she keeps food down.

That's great. Do you think it is safe to bring her back to the house with the dogs?

Dogs now are outside all day and Friday I will be buying them crates. If they want in my house they will go in crates. Honestly if someone wanted them and would treat them right I would give them away. But I figure the next best option is to make them outside dogs and crate them when inside during bad weather.

What about using baby gates to prevent them from being able to chase the cat all over?

I have thought about those but the dogs that bother the cats are a cattle dog mix and an otherwise very sweet pitbull and worry they will just knock the gates down to get to the cats. My little dog is very protective of the cats and sleeps with them so not worried about him. Do you know a good kind of baby gate that the dogs couldn't knock down by running into them. The cats were locked in the master bedroom just the dogs knocked me down to run in there when I was heading to bed the other night.

Oreo came home Friday afternoon. Yesterday she ate half a can of cat food and a whole jar of baby food meat. She seems to be doing fine now. Dogs are learning to accept their crates and the pit bull even asks to go in it.
