Attention Angel fans

The WB is not renewing the show Angel next year. You can sign a petition here to try to keep it on.

I'm really hoping that a miracle will happen and the WB will pick it back up for another season or that UPN will take it. *sigh*

No fair! They ended Buffy and I looooved that show and went to Angel to try to replace it and now they want to cancel this show too? Grrrr. I wish they'd make their minds up! I signed the petition. I hope it helps!

Actually, Angel was a spin off. It wasn't intended to replace Buffy.

And the reason for ending Buffy, Sarah Michelle Gellar wants to focus on making movies more. That was becoming clear in the final years of production as to whether she would sign on for another year or not.

And so far with what I seen of Angel this season, I haven't been impressed by it. I've only seen the first four episodes. It seems to have lost steam and the writers don't seem to know how to deal with the Angel Investigation team running Wolfram and Hart.

Not sure if you was replying to me or just saying that, but if it was to me:

I know Angel was a spin off. By replacing Buffy I meant for me since there's no other vampire shows on like Buffy now that Buffy's gone. I heard it wasnt because of the movies, but because she had gotten married and wanted time with her husband.

I've not been 100% impressed with Angel either, but I think if they got some new writers or something they could make it better. I mean the show recently got a tv guide cover so it cant be that bad to people.

You know what? Many think like me and you know what I think? Angels fifth season is the best ever! Yea sure you said that you have seen four first episodes of Angel but guess what this season get better and better. It seems that you dont like character Spike because he played big part in angel 5x04 episode. Then I suggest you watch ep. 5x11 - Damage it is probably just great for you then. There is many great episodes this season: 5x01,5x07,5x08,5x11,5x12,5x13,5x14(very funny!),5x15,5x16. And... What you have seen only first four eps.? Why dont you give this show a second chance? Personally I have liked every episode because I dont demand as much as you. I personally cant believe how is it that you dont watch this show... was those four first episodes boring? umm.. Well why dont you tell me what is better series? Charmed? ;D Give me a break! Im sorry but really you better watch Angel season 5 because you are not going to regret it! Atleast overall it is a good season!
