I just had my 6 month old kitten spayed 2 days ago. She seemed fine up until about 6 hours ago, she's puked 6 times. It's mostly foamy and white, a few times it was yellow with some food chunks (sorry for the visual). I called a 24 hour vet and the lady said it could be due to her just recovering. She suggested a bland food diet. But Gigi won't eat or drink. She's only 6 pounds, I'm worried she'll get dehydrated if she doesn't drink anything or eat soon.

You are right to be concerned.  Since it's been 2 days, I'm thinking that most of the after-effects of the surgery would be worked out of her system.  You might try some plain meat baby food, chicken or turkey no garlic or onion.  You could also try shredding up some plain boiled chicken or use an immersion blender and make your own baby food by mixing in some of the broth from the water in which you boiled the chicken. If the vomiting continues, she needs to go to the vet ASAP to make sure there's no blockage or anything like that.

Forgot to ask, have you been giving her any pain meds or antibiotics since her spay? The meds could be the cause.

I'm making chicken now. She's not on any meds. I don't know if she was given painkillers at the spay and neuter clinic. I took her brother and sister too and they've been fine. But she's always had more of a sensitive stomach. I'm wondering if maybe I gave her too much food too soon? Idk, the woman at the emergency vet clinic didn't seem like it was dire. She finally had a tiny bit of water and then threw up more foam.

I also don't have a ton of money for vet care. Christmas and spay and neutering 3 cats has not been cheap. If I have to take her, of course I will, but anything I can do help her on my own I want to try.

All three had revolution treatments, rabies, and distemper. The side effects of revolution do include vomiting and diarrhea..... Maybe that's what's wrong

I took her to an emergency vet at like 6:30am, they checked her out and said no swelling, her spay incision was fine and she didn't have a fever. She offered bloodwork or cerenia and fluids. We held off on the bloodwork and did the cerenia. So no more puking she hasn't eaten too much. They said a quarter can of wet food they gave me every 4 hours. She doesn't seem so interested in it. I don't want to force her to eat. Ugh.

I'm sorry she's not feeling too much better.  Did they do x-rays to make sure there was no blockage?  Praying she's better soon!

No x rays, she's puked twice today and had diarrhea. The vet had said all the vaccines plus the surgery may have just messed with her stomach. She felt her stomach and didn't seem to think there was any blockage. Gigi didn't die any signs of being in pain when she was pushing on her, so I don't know what to think. Maybe just give her time. Maybe her stomach is just going to be a little more sensitive for a few days. She's acting a little more herself. She drank some water last night. Just no appetite yet. I've even tried baby food.

Probably give her time. One time a female cat of mine completely shut down after routine vaccinations. We were very worried as it lasted a few days. We took her back to the vet for a "jump-start" and was fine after that. Some cats are more sensitive to procedures than others.

That's what I'm thinking she's a little more herself today. She's drinking water on her own, no appetite yet. The vet said if she doesn't eat tomorrow to definitely bring her in. She did puke twice, but at least that's an improvement. She's been walking around and using her little cardboard scratcher. So she must feeling a little better

I didn't realize she also got vaccinations at the same time as the surgery!  Poor baby has had a lot thrown at her little system.  Keep an eye on her and if you don't see a big improvement in a few days, get her back to the vet.

She hasn't eaten since Sunday, she's only 6 pounds, so I don't know how much longer she can go without or should go without eating

UPDATE: we went to the vet six days ago, had bloodwork done and everything was fine. The vet gave us medicine for the vomiting/diarrhea and something pink to soothe her stomach. I gave her the pink stuff and a couple hours later I was able to get her to eat some cat treats. She was climbing all over the place again like her old self. The next day she was eating on her own! Everything's pretty back to normal.
