Hello from Tampa Florida!

Hello! I joined this site to get to know more about cats. I'm a PHD student studying computer science and I also build robots in my free time. I have two cats. I have a 10.5 pound 8 month old medium haired boy named Cody Bear. I also have an 11 pound 1.5 year old Domestic Short hair named Dorian. They are my boys and I love them to death. I adopted Dorian when he was 6 weeks old and Cody bear about a month ago from the shelter I volunteer with.

Welcome to TCS!   Cody and Dorian are really beautiful cats, and I'm not just saying that because I adore black cats.  
    I'm wondering, however, how you manage to build robots with the inevitable offers of feline help?  
 And do you ever build robots for them?  

I hope you enjoy the site - I think you'll find there is a wealth of information here and the people are friendly and helpful.  Hope to see you around the forums!

Look at those gorgeous boys!! Black cats are magnificent. I'm not prejudiced at all though (OK I am- I have 3 of them! 
)

I am in Florida also- on the east coast halfway between Orlando and West Palm Beach

Well, hello from Orlando, rileynwhite!  Cody Bear and Dorian are awesome looking animals!  Incidentally, I just this month completed my Ph.D. at Boston University.  It was a long time coming--nine years, in fact--but well worth it.  Welcome to the Catsite!

Your kitties are beautiful! I have a black kitty too. Her name is Lexie. She's very petite at 7 lbs and she's almost 7. I also have a 12 lb Siamese who is 9.
