My cats due today (day 64) but isnt showing any real signs of labour coming anytime soon, i cant say shes more effectionate because she has been the same all the way through her pregnancy very clingy and follows you everywere nothings changed, she is struggling to stay comfy and changes her positions regular and prefers laying on a hard floor, she has a box set up and close by but isnt interested she prefers the window sill as its wide and warm with the radiator on ive tried putting the box there (on the floor of course haha) but still prefers been on the window she is purring a lot and isnt too interested in food just has a few nibbles and goes away from it, she had abit of clear discharge on monday but only that bit and vet said shed of had them monday/Tuesday with having that but nothing help ?

The good thing is, cats usually do manage a little too long pregnancies better than humans. so day 64 isnt alarming at all, it may even be one week more...

What is  always dangerous, is premature deliveries...

Also, they tend not to use the nest too early.  In nature they dont want to get it smelly and flea infested too early...   So get home some KMR / goats milk, just be be prepared and not be defenceless if the kittens arrive but not the milk, do observe and wait calmly.

If she wants and allows belly rubs do so.   :)   Its a nice massage and helps somewhat the hormones flowing.

Ok, if they are forced to get her going, be prepared the kittens may be somewhat premature.  So DO have the kmr / goats milk, needleless syringes, a scale, and read on about handraising.  You will be assisted by the mom with washing and comforting, so it wont be difficult, But still, lotsa to do.

I agree to let nature take its course. She'll have them. The white "powder" is dried milk. She's close! Be patient! [emoji]128522[/emoji]

How are you exactly sure of the day that she mated? 70 days is not uncommon.

Everything sounds normal. Just let Mother Nature run her course for now. [emoji]128522[/emoji]
