My 2 year and two months year old domestic tabby has a love of milk but in recent weeks milk has caused her to throw up her name is Harmony. Anyone know what is going on with her?

Milk is really not good for cats. Most cats are lactose intolerant which means the milk will make her throw up, give her diarrhea and could cause more serious problems such as dehydration.

The best thing for her to drink is water, but if you want to give her a treat you can buy cat milk at most pet shops and bigger super markets. It is just meant as a treat though, she doesn't need it every day.

See this recent thread: http://www.thecatsite.com/t/331442/cats-dairy

Cats don't have the digestive enzyme needed to break down the lactose in milk. That is why many cats get upset tummies and diarrhea and gassiness from milk products. Stop giving your cat milk products to stop the vomiting. If the vomiting continues, take your cat to the vet.

Goat milk is supposed to be more tolerable to cats but some cats still have tummy issues with it.

Cat milk products like the Whiskas one Norachan posted about are a better alternative but often contain sugars and added stuff to it that cats don't need.
