Hello,
I have a litter of 3 month old kittens. There are 5 and everyone has been neutered or spayed. They are all current on shots and are very clean and flea free. But all 5 have started to get scale patches on their skin. They have an appointment next month for the vet to look. I'm just curious if any of you have run into this. It doesn't seem to bother them. It doesn't appear to be itchy and is not red. It's just scaley. Any ideas?

I would move up that vet appointment and have them checked.  Scaly patches is often the beginning of ringworm, and if that is the case, you don't want to wait to start treatment.  There is a very effective shampoo which is good for skin conditions like this with the prime ingredients being ketoconozole, which is effective against funguses like ringworm, and chlorhexadine, which is effective against bacterial dermatitis.  The most affordable version is:

We have had good luck with this when other treatments have not worked.  First, however, you should go to your vet for diagnosis.
