I have a kitten, very affectionate and very playful.  She has two 6-year-old cat siblings and a piglet sister, all of which she plays with regularly and aggressively, as they do (but don't worry, the pig isn't aggressive with her).  She's so high energy that she also often entertains herself by darting around the apartment and rapidly climbing furniture and launching off of things.  But she never leaves our apartment - hasn't been outside since the day we brought her in almost a year ago.

Likely as a result of all the wildness, we find that she has small cuts and wounds on her face (mainly nose/snout/cheeks), all the time.  They are never severe, almost never bleed enough to drip, and they never get infected (suggesting they aren't from litter-dirty cat claws).  Whenever the cuts show up, they heal in about a week, so it's not a major concern.  But she's our 7th cat and we've never had one constantly getting little wounds on their face!  Has anyone else encountered this?  Is it just because she's so energetic and adventurous, always running into things?

Here is a picture of her (Pani Puri) napping by the napping piglet (Link): https://photos.google.com/photo/AF1QipNv9M5SdywXP2KeOQyQ8xpVxbhwIY33VpPXCs03

So she is an adult cat of almost one year?   What comes to my mind, these sores are symptoms of something.  Perhaps some oversensibility to something - food or else.

They may potentially be elsewhere too, but the skin and hairs on face is thinner, that is why we have easiest to observe them there...

So unless she got something from the piglet (there are a couple of sore giving diseases humans can get from pigs) -  I would guess on some internal reasons.   A visit to a good vet is in order.  May need several visits even, to examine exactly what it is.

She's not exactly and adult - she is hermaphroditic so she's not maturing normally, basically she stopped growing/maturing and is stuck as a 4.5lb kitten, which is a blessing.

The pig has also lived exclusively inside our apartment since she was 4 days old, so she's probably not catching something from the pig.  Also they really don't seem like sores, just little cuts that never bother her and always heal quickly.

Finally, I forgot to mention that I'm on a remote island with no real access to vet care. Having 7 cats here over the past 4 years has taught me pretty well about which things to be really worried about, which things I can care for myself, and which things to not really worry about.  This case is the latter.

Good point though, that it may be sensitivity to something.  She tends to seek water sources other than her water bowl (like the toilet) so I'll switch something up to encourage her to stick to her clean bowl for water.  She eats out of stainless steel so that's probably not an issue.
