I thought I would tell an unusual story about my cat Buttons that happened a couple of years ago. Through high school my dad and I lived in an apartment and Buttons used to jump up a this one particular light switch in the entry-way. She would stand really close to the wall staring up at the light switch and then jump up at it, land, stare again, jump up at it, land, etc., etc., etc. She would do this a coulple of times and then eventually get bored and walk away. She would do this every couple of weeks or so. It was so funny !!!!! For the life of me I could never figure out why she was doing this. She has moved with me 4 times since then and has never done that at any of the other places - just that one apartment. It would just tickle me to watch her concentrate so hard at something!!!

Sfell; I once had a very intelligent calico named "Quilt" who would jump up on the front porch and ring the doorbell! (honest to God! I saw her do it once or twice.) Before we wittnessed her doing it we wondered if we had a short in the wiring because the doorbell would chime late at nite or in the wee hours of the morning and there would be no one there but Quilt. . . ..

Did your cat ever succeed at turning the light on?

Actually, I only saw her turn it on once but I think maybe she did it more often. I usually woke up before my dad did and would find that the same light would be on sometimes!!!

Darlene,

I couldn't help but laugh at the thought of you guys opening up your front door at 3 am and looking around and only seeing the cat! that is priceless!

:laughing2:laughing2 Hi Sfell :angel2:

That's great! Sometimes the Sharkmaster will look at the ground and just keep looking at it for what seems forever then he'll just stretch, yawn and walk away...I go over to see what might be there and lo and behold...it's absolutely nothing! hahaha :laughing2 Lord knows what that cat's lookin' at!:LOL::LOL:

He does this about two or three times a week that I know of...hmmm? These little babes are getting more intriguing the longer they own me.

Love, Peace &
