Beau has been sneezing since at least September. Only his left nostril has nasal discharge and his left eye is filthy. The discharge is yellowish, bit like pus. He's been given 2 different kinds of antibiotics and it just won't go away.

Friday evening I noticed he was kinda grinning at me and I noticed a lump on his lower lip, right side. His upper canine seems to be sticking in there. He's still eating but his fur seems a bit greasy, it's been greasy for quite bit now.

I'm calling the vet tomorrow but does anyone recognize this?

Unclear, he needed a vet a while ago.   Please update us.

He's already been, twice! First they thought it was URI and then few weeks later he said it was Chlamydia.

The weird thing is that it only seems to be affecting the left side and now he's got this funny bump on the right.

Beau seems to be feeling ok, except for his fur and he also seems to be obsessed with drinking. He's got a water fountain but if you put a bowl of water some where he'll start eyeing it, like 'I need to have that'.

He is the only one to have this by the way. Not one of the other cats has developed symptoms

They didn't need to see him. I did send them a picture of his face through Facebook but they said I had phoned already and they had a prescription ready based on that phone call.

I had Doxoral after the first visit in September and then in November Ronaxan (both doxycycline) and now I've got Synulox(Amoxicillin/clavulanic acid).

Here's Beau today

Beau is still not well. The lump was gone but the snot came back including a dirty eye. His mouth hurts to touch and dry kibble, but he hardly eats his wet food.

Calling the vet tomorrow to see if an exam of him and maybe other things can reveal what's ailing him

Beau is gone

I had a rhinoscopy done at a different vet(my own didn't have the equipment). Turns out Beau had several small polyps in the back of his nose. They could remove them but they would have come back and possibly quicker. Considering Beau wasn't fit since the beginning of the year they might have started growing then and then we would be back at the vet next year.

Knowing Beau I knew I couldn't make him suffer through that so we decided not to wake him up...

I'm absolutely devastated...

I'm so sorry. It's bad enough when you know your cat is ill and can prepare yourself for the worse, but this seemed so sudden and I'm sure it was a nasty shock. It's never an easy decision, but we must let them go so they won't suffer anymore.
Rest in peace Beau. :rbheart:
