My cat has a super sensitive stomach. I believe he has an intolerance to grain and to chicken. I've tried so many different foods. We've done science diet and blue buffalo as well as Purina. We've gone to the vet and they can't seem to figure out a solution either because his stomach can't handle the prescription foods. He did well with Rachel Ray but I'm not sure about the ingredients and if that's what I want to continue to feed him. I could really use some help. It upsets me so much to see my poor boy like this all the time.

All those foods are fairly low quality. "sensitive stomach" doesn't really exist for cats. You've either got a medical issue, IBD, or an food intolerance. "Grain free" doesn't really mean much, because companies just replace grains with other starchy ingredients, like potatoes, or peas, that cats can't digest well either. Cats are obligate carnivores, meaning they need meat, not all that other weird stuff in cheap cat foods. The first thing you need to do is have your cat evaluated by a vet to rule out a medical issue that could be causing the vomiting. How often after he eats is he vomiting? Is he vomiting food, bile, hair?

You need to really upgrade the foods you're feeding. Limited ingredient simple to diet wet foods only. The most affordable choice would be Merrick LID, which isn't perfect but it's decent. Tikicat, Weruva, Ziwipeak, and Feline Naturals are all good too. Homecooked or raw would be a good choice as well.

Since the diet your vet prescribed didn't work, and they haven't identified any underlying health issues, my guess would be that your cat would benefit from either a raw diet or a limited ingredient diet. I would definitely feed something higher quality than Purina. And Bosley's pet store stopped carrying Blue Buffalo for a while a couple of years ago because of the frequent recalls.

I've heard that most cats tolerate duck very well. You might want to give that a try. I haven't heard anything about rabbit or venison, but they may be a better option than chicken.  Have you tried a raw food diet yet?

Good luck with your fellow.
