Hi, Happy Saturday.

If your cats could talk what kind of voice would they have?

I think The Mu would talk like Queenie from Black Adder. The Mu has a very regal air about her and as she's a torbie she looks a lot like Queenie too.


Little Boy is the boss so he would talk like some kind of East End Mobster. I imagine the rest of the boys are his gang of urchins. They'd probably sound like the boys from Oliver Twist.

How about your cats?

This is a tough one!  I can't relate their voices to a a particular character, but I can describe what I think they'd be like.

Paul's voice would be deep and kind, with overtones of humor.    He would do well as a judge.

Chula's voice would be soft and sweet at times and full of mischief at others.  She would do well on Broadway.

Pickle would make a good voice over for Minnie Mouse, Kiwi the Gruffalo and Buzz Betty Boop. Odd creatures my cats.

I think Muffy would sound like Tina from Bob's Burgers.

I always thought Betty Boop would make a good cat.

It's a. . .quirky show. Tina's voice actor is a man and he doesn't make any effort to sound like a girl. I think all the female characters in that show have their voices done by a man. . .I have to check. (OK I checked. The mom and Tina have male voice actors. The youngest girl is voiced by a woman).

Nothing springs readily to mind with the others.  

Lily is the queen and her voice would sound like Duchess from Babe but she wouldn't be mean like Duchess

 

Sophie would sound like Rue McClanahan playing Blanche Deveraux in the Golden Girls


Henry is a true gentleman so he would sound just like Patrick Stewart

Tina is a fun character and so is my Muffy.

My Lily already has a deep and throaty voice. She would be a great seductive vamp like Mae West.

Mingo has a higher voice and is very talkative. He would be someone like Dr. Phil, very empathetic.

Really? But Rico looks like such a butch cat with that long fur and tuxedo.

Oh, Blanche would make such a good cat! She has the personality for it.

Sophie and The Mu should get together. I can just imagine the two of them bossing us around.
