Coughing?

We brought Jophiel home 2 weeks ago on December 2nd. I have noticed him cough like this every now and then.. I wondered if anyone has experienced this? jophiel is around 7 months old.


This video is NOT Jophiel, be he does this exact cough.

Your best bet would probably be to record Jophiel if you can and show it to your vet :nod:

Yes that is what the vets office said as well.

I have been trying but when I saw him doing this am, it had woken me up from sleep and no phone by me to take video. I will keep trying

I talked to the vet and being that he seems very healthy otherwise, they said just to wait when he goes in for a recheck in a week or so to talk more about it.

It could be part of an upper respiratory infection, less likely would be a hairball, but the type of wheezing the cat in the video is doing looks more like an URI.  Asthma possible but those symptoms are a bit different.
