This is my little ollie and i don't think he's well.

So heres what's happened he's barely been eating even fresh cooked chicken and fish (this has been going on around a week now) and we've had a few vomiting episodes a few days ago. He also looks pale to me (sounds strange since his fur shouldn't change colour if he's sick) His nose looks paler and his fur looks greyer than usual. He's hiding allot (specially after sickness I dunno why i clean it up then either stroke him because it's not nice being sick or if he's well hidden wait until he comes out it's like he's scared im going to shout at him) He's a little more quiter than usual but not much so what should I do? anyone else had this?

If your cat is not eating and hiding and on top of that he's vomiting, these are signs that he is really sick. Furthermore it has been a week since he's acting this way. Please bring him to the vet for a check. Do not delay.

Thankyou for your replies. I went to the pet shop a couple of weeks ago as ollie had fleas and i'd tried absolutely everything including veterinary products. They cut down the number of fleas but would never eliminate them. The pet shop suggested flea tablets it was these that have made him ill reading the reviews cats have had to be put to sleep because of the side effects of these tablets. His fleas are fully gone but they also poison the animal  too.

Im shocked and disgusted and feel truly sick over this. Ollie is fine now and has eaten absolutely everything today thank god!

Thank goodness that Ollie is fine and eating now. But I suggest that you still keep a tab on him.
It's better to consult the vet the next time rather then getting OTC medications that you are not sure of and end up doing more harm than cure. ;)

I am so shocked it was bob martins flea tablets and apparently it can attack the cats nervous system!! The pamphlet that came with it said there were no side effects but when i'v googled them horror stories have come up.. I feel so terrible there's no vets open until monday he seems fine now but i really don't want to chance it. The whole situation is just so upsetting and those poor people who's pets have died painfully from these have to live with that too! Thankyou for your help

For peace of mind, bring your Ollie to the vet to have him checked to make sure he's clear of the horrible pill he took.
Next time use Revolution flea treatment. This one is safe and effective.

Nitenpyram is a very safe product. But of course a cat could have a bad reaction to anything, regardless of safety. What other products did you use? Many of the available flea sprays are very toxic to cats.

Anyway, glad he's feeling better! Hopefully whatever was bothering him is out of his system now.
