Boo has dwindled down on her eating again the past day or two... starting to worry a bit. But she's full of energy and very playful. Hoping for the best, will continue to force feed. [emoji]128542[/emoji]

I guess the invstigation continues as to what is causing her issues.  At least the ultrasound was clear
That's still a good sign in my book.

I sure hope so. It's strange, she has a round of 4-5 really great days and then starts to slightly decline. Every bout of good days though are better than the last.
One thing I know for sure is she loves our new (calm) house, lol. I haven't seen her this playful and energetic for a long time! I think she thoroughly enjoys being the only cat here.
I called the vet today and booked her next blood test (Thursday) and filled our vet in on the latest. She suggested trying her on the appetite stimulant again (miratizpine), I didn't say no but I told her it made her act quite strange and the increased heart rate freaked me out a bit. I just picked up a prescribed anti-nausea instead.

Some more good news. Boo's levels have continued to go down! The worst one which started at 1500 is down in the 300's, one is returned to total normal and another is almost there.

Well that's interesting, and GREAT news!  So her bloodwork is good, she's acting perfectly normal,  but her appetite is down
Maybe she's just getting tired of her food.  Have you tried switching it up?   I know sometimes my guys just want something different than the same old foods, and I have about 4 different foods in their rotation.  If I get them something else to put in the mix (depending on what it is), they'll go nuts for it for awhile, and then I'll give them some of their old stuff and they'll act like it's the best thing since sliced bread

The two vets I'm working with on this seem to be pretty stumped. She hasn't lost anymore weight and with the bloodwork starting to return to normal they seem to be at a bit of a loss with the appetite. I have quite a few cans of different food so I'm still trying with changing it up! She's started to just lick the food right from the end of the syringe, rather than me forcing it. She ate a bit of the recovery food off a plate over night and also munched on some hard food.
The vet did bring up the possibility of this now being a behavioural thing - maybe Boo is enjoying the attention and the one on one time when feeding. I'm not sure, this is all just very strange. If the appetite continues to go up and down over the next week or so we're going to try a barium enema. Full exploratory biopsy is a very last resort, hoping to get this all sorted out without it.

Boo's behaviour has improved significantly, both eating and energy wise. She seems to be quite happy and healthy again. I took her in for more blood work yesterday and got the results this morning. Her levels are continuing to drop, though not fully back in the "normal" range. Her ALT level was in the 300's about two weeks ago, they're now down in the 200's (big improvement from 1500). We're keeping her on the liver support medication and I'm bringing her back in 3 weeks to check again.
I'm so happy to see Boo eating lots and on her own, as well as being very playful... but I'm still confused as to what's going on. The vet doesn't see the need to do any kind of biopsy unless Boo relapses into the sickly behaviour.

I'm so happy thing are going well, and that her ALT keeps getting lower.  Sometimes things are just a big mystery...with humans too.  The eating part could be behavioral, but would that cause an actual rise in her ALT?  Is that possible?  What did the Vets say about that part?

Her eating has been great the past two weeks, so good that she's actually gained a fair amount of weight. The weight loss was a cause for concern to begin with because it was another "symptom" but she definitely had the weight to spare as she was a bit bigger to begin with. Now we're putting her on a calorie control food. She just can't win lol, she loses weight and we're worried, she gains it back and now we want her to lose it again. The main thing is she's eating more than enough which in most respects I'd rather see than her not eating enough - I just don't want too heavy of a weight to end up causing different issues down the line.

The vet seems so unsure about this. Now that the eating and energy are good and have stayed good, the vet seems to be at a loss. She did mention we don't have any prior bloodwork to compare this all too, so it's possible Boo may just have slightly higher levels as her "norm". I haven't really looked into that yet, is that possible?

So happy things are on an uptick. Paws crossed they'll continue. This whole thing may end up being a mystery. Main thing is you've been able to bring her back to good health.

Yes, this is absolutely possible.  Since it's slowly going down, there obviously WAS some sort of issue, possibly an infection of some sort, but it's possible she never was in the "normal" range.
