Hi, we found a stunningly beautiful kitten up under the tire of our car a few months back, she was filthy, starved and covered in fleas. We've been able to return her to health and she has grown rather large, althetic almost. She is actually one of the most beautiful cats I've ever had. Her coat is semi long and has an unusually silky texture. She's basically a big ball of white fluff with an amber ringed tail and amber markings on her head. Her eyes are also the most stunning amber color. I've looked around trying to find any information online and the only breed she seems to strongly resemble is a Turkish Van. Could that even be possible??? Finding a rare breed of cat abandoned as a kitten? Any thoughts would be appreciated. I'LOL try to attach some awful photos my preteen took of her, but they don't do her justice. You can't even see how amber her eyes are..

No clue what kind of cat she is, but, believe me, even pedigree pets can be dumped. Cruel people out there.

She is stunningly beautiful. Anything is possible, but as you say, extremely unlikely. All cats carry some genetic characteristics of 'breed' cats, as people only started to select for breeding around 200 years ago. So fur length and type, eye and coat colour, size etc, can look like a pedigree cat's without being one. She is a lucky girl, that you found her, and you are very lucky to have her.

Well, the problem is, my husband won't let me keep her. She was basically feral when we found her and wasn't litter boxed trained. She kept urinating on my kids bean bag chairs and blankets. We've been keeping her in our sun room since it's so cold outside and she seems to be using the litter box we put in there for her but My husband will only allow one cat

.
He's afraid she'll start going on the carpet if we let her back into the main part of the house. Breaks my heart. I love her. [emoji]128533[/emoji]

That is a terrible shame. Many ferals and strays do that in the first weeks, but they usually pick up the correct manners eventually, as it seems she has. Can he not give it a trial period? She will need more than one box if she is to be in the house, but I am sure she will get it.

We found her a home and turns out it was a real blessing. I was very picky and screened over 22 people who were interested in adopting her. I chose a wonderful lady who owns a bakery and has a father in law who is a Vet. She took her to get examined and her first round of shots and they discovered Sunni had a tumor on her uterus about the size of a golf ball. She had to go into emergency surgery right away. She is now doing well and is very happy to be in her new home! If I had kept her she wouldn't have had a chance at a long healthy life like she does now.

She definitely looks like a Turkish Angora

or maybe even a longhair domestic.
