Cat LOVES heated cat bed!

We just recently got an infrared heated bed and our cat loves it, she'll spend the whole day on it, she'll practically fight you for it! If you're laying on in at night she'll put her paws underneath you to get you to move over and she'll take the bed for herself. My mom bought it for $700 for body aches but the cat has claimed it for herself. It makes a beep when you turn it on and she gets excited when she hears it, she'll come running. It's very expensive but it's a great gift for your cat, it's also theraputic for cats with arthiritis and inflammation and other maladies.

they do make heated beds for pets, smaller and cheaper. If your mom is being fought for it, I think your kitty would be happy with her own.

They do like the heat!

I bought one last year on Amazon for about $35 for my oldest kitty.  She lives in that thing during the cooler months!  It's washable and the heating pad is removable.  It works with the ambient body temp of your kitty, so it won't burn.  Also, if the cat is not in the bed, it won't continue to heat up, but stay cooler.  (It's still on and still warms, but not as warm as when the cat is in it.)  For many years, we have had just the heating pads, but last year I splurged for my senior kitty.  One of the best investments I've made.

Ditto on the heated cat bed from Amazon. Our Henry, a big grey feral we neutered went right in as soon as I put it together. Paid around $50 last week but well worth it. He stays outside in a shelter out of the wind but even in 20 degrees he is toasty.

I didn't know they made something like that and can be used outside. I will have to check it out and get one for my ferals. I wish I had one tonight. It is suppose to get down in the teens with the wind chill factor. Muffy would like that too but she uses my heating pad to stay warm.
