Feral Disappeared

We brought in the two feral cats that we have been feeding and we put them in our back bedroom. Today my wife goes in there and comes out saying she can't find Puppet. We looked all over the place. Eventually we found her way in the back of some boxes. Who thought you could lose a cat in a closed room............lol

  I've lost many a cat in a closed room.   It's astonishing how they can make themselves disappear..

I too have lost a cat in a room. When I brought my feral boy, Marvin inside, he too managed to get behind some blocked off furniture and was hiding under a blanket.  I was so scared.

One of my former ferals, Schofield, has found a hiding spot somewhere in our house.  I have yet to discover where it is.  Every so often, he decides he doesn't want his wet food and no amount of my calling or searching helps.

I am beginning to think he likes the search.   Almost every time I stop, within ten minutes, he's out and meowing to me as if to say "Why'd you stop?"
