Introduction

My name is Rachael & I came across this website by accident & it looked interesting to join. I'm 24 years old and own a cat named Butters & a leopard gecko named Donatello (after one of the ninja turtles b/c I'm a nerd). Butters is a domestic short hair & he's two years old. He's also got the tuxedo pattern. I rescued him from the local shelter after losing my long time cat friend of 16 yrs (I got her when I was 5). I was heartbroken, but then this little tuxedo pipsqueak came into my life & I'm the proud momma of Mr. Butters. His name is actually Bandit, but he acquired the nickname of Butters cuz he reminds me of the kid from South Park & we caught him licking a stick of

OH GOODIE!  I get to be the very first person to welcome you to TCS!  I stumbled in by accident just over a year ago, and never left!  We're so very glad that you found us!  Take some time to browse the forums and the articles...I recommend the reviews, as well...OH...and the quizzes, and the...well...It's a fun site.  And I'm sure that you will make good friends here!   I certainly have.

We would love to see pictures of your Butters, and Donatello, as well...he's part of your family, too!  And don't forget your baby at the Rainbow Bridge...you can even make a memorial for her, if you would like, at the "Crossing the Bridge" forum.

I'm so very sorry to hear of the loss of your dear cat but I'm happy to hear that you were ready to open your heart and home to your Butters. I had a little chuckle over how he earned his sweet name.
