HI,

WE have been the receiver of 3 cats and one kitten dumped at our place.  All female except the young kitten.  I will be taking them in to the vet to get checked, but my question is this the one who is pregnant for sure her belly at times is hard.  And I have yet to see or feel movement of the kittens.  However that being said she does not really sit still enough for me to feel around her belly .  When she is sleeping I watch closely and see nothing.  Is a hard tummy normal at some point in the pregnancy.

Thank you

and I do plan an keeping them maybe re-homing the male kitten .  But all will get fixed and shots and wormed. And they are all inside as it is very cold here.

She can have some precontractions - esp if she is hard sometimes, and otherwise not.  But this occurs late in the pregnancy, so you should also be able to notice the kittens move at this time...

That is what I can say for now.

Good you are taking them all for a vet check up, etc.

Please continue to report, and ask questions if you have any.

Tx for caring!

Well I am happy to announce that the cat I thought was pregnant was not.  And  she  is healthy.  All females have been fixed and wormed and on vitamins.  Had their ears treated.  The little kitten will get fixed when he is old enough .   They all are equally affectionately and yet have such different personality's it is fun to have them.

I have two feed dispensers that dish out food 3 times a day.  Seems to work with 4 cats each eats at their own time.  One likes the dog food.  One loves to drink out of the sink every morning when I go to brush my teeth she is on the counter and waiting for me to turn on the water and in her head goes to get a drink.  My husband finds this hilarious and yet annoying as of now she is doing that to him also. lol For not being cat people we sure have done a turn around.  I have had several people say they would take them off my hands but as of now they are home.

I posted pics of them on my profile in albums.

Hope everyone has a great  xmas
