It's quite hard to determine the stripes as it the photo angle is not very clear. You check if the stripes on the body are not jointed, then it's what I mentioned. If you find that the stripes are jointed, then it's a Domestic Shorthair Mackerel Tabby.

They are concerned because  brachycephalic breeds such as Persians and Bull dogs in the canine world are restricted from flying during some seasons. As stated, your cat is a domestic short hair (Lovely cat too!).

From what I see it seems to me that she is a Domestic Shorthair Broken Mackerel Stripes Tabby. The spots on her body is not round enough to be a Spotted Tabby. You can confirm it as you can see it more clearly.
The spots on the belly is not taken into considerations to determine her as a Spotted Tabby. My boy is a DSH Mackerel Tabby, he has spots on his belly too.
She is beautiful! [emoji]10084[/emoji]️

Wow! Taiwan Tabby!! As been stated he a gorgeous domestic shorthair w/ tabby stripes.
Gotta love those ears!will your flight let you keep him[emoji]128008[/emoji] [emoji]127852[/emoji]with you in a unders seat storage [emoji]128188[/emoji] area rather than in the cargo area? I've heard some pretty awful stories about that. If not,can you find out if she will be in a heated and cooled hold? [emoji]9992[/emoji]️ Beautiful kitty. Looks like she's adopted you![emoji]128571[/emoji]

I myself think she is a spotted tabby. She will not win any big competitions, its not that expressive, but I think she is spotted for real, not just broken mackerel

In the flight declaration you write domestic shorthair.

And its possible they DO mean specie, what if your cat is a wild cat, huh?  But he IS a domestic.   :)

StefanZ, You are right to state DSH in the flight declaration [emoji]128077[/emoji][emoji]127995[/emoji] Why didn't I think of that? :smshfrk:
It's quite a tough call between Spotted and Stripes

I would stick to domestic shorthair in the forms. You don't want them confused with the coat descriptions and thinking this may be some exotic cat. Domestic shorthair and even just "domestic" should be enough IMO. Have a safe flight and let us know how it went!
