I was just hoping to get an opinion on the wet food my kitties eat...
B.f.f. (Best Friend Feline) which is a line from Weruva. I'm going to be moving them to 100% wet and was hoping they can stay on what they have.

Yes, it can be a complete diet.

Only one of my cats liked B. F. F and it made her vomit a lot. Pretty good ingredients, but now they're adding weird stuff in it so check the ingredients first. Personally, I wouldn't buy this food again.

Congratulations switching to all canned! :)

It's complete, but I wouldn't feed it it exclusively as they are fish based.

I would agree with not feeding it exclusively. It is good to mix up the different brands of canned food a cat gets. This helps them get different types of nutrition from different foods. It is also helpful if something ever gets recalled since you'll have multiple foods that your cat can eat.

I would limit it, too: BFF is fishy and many of their foods are carby because of the tapioca that thickens it. You might want to try some of Weruva's chicken-based Cats in the Kitchen foods: there are several that don't have fish.

I agree with many of the others whom have commented.I would stick with the other Weruva products as their primary meals such as cats in the kitchen as they have other meat sources in them and alternate BFF on occassion or giving them partial or even half of it with the other. I would definitely avoid exclusely giving this product by itself.

When I first bought Weruva I got the cats in the kitchen pouches and cans. My cats loved them and I was satisfied with the ingredients and even what it looked liked. I then bought the BFF thinking it was the same and I was not to keen on it at all. My cats liked it (although they actually like the other better) but they were basically 95% tuna or fish. There is a tiny amount of chicken that you can see which isn't much and that accounts for the 2nd ingredient of their meat source which means the other, typically the tuna, has to be the bulk of the product as far as the protein source. In my opinion, it is not wise to only feed fish based food's or even only feeding chicken based foods. Although, I am more comfortable with feeding more "land" animal meats than only fish for their diet. Nonetheless, fish is still an important protein with high quantity and quality minerals that other meats don't have like omega's and vitamin e oils. But they don't need to get their only source of,protein from tuna either. That can't possibly satify all of their needs. Just rotate through the whole line. They have pouches too that have more water in them and my cats love them too. You can feed them as a main meal or treat. Again, I wouldn't only give the pouches as a meal. I like to mix it and give them their can with the pouch on the side or on top of their canned food.

I also agree in mixing this brand with others. I feed a mixture of Solistic (which they LOVED), some Merrick and Earthborn. Other too but those are the regular. They don't like the pate Merrick much but I found the gravy ones they did like. They do like Earthborn however Solistic is their favorite even over Weruva. All cats like different things but mine are picky little butts but I found that as a whole Solistic was most liked.

And I hate to say it like this but the BFF line actually smells horrible and looks terrible. When I only had the BFF left for a few days before I restocked their food, I meant to look up what color tuna fish actually are. Is it dark brown meat like that or is that how it is processed?

The BFF line made a couple of my cats sick when i used the pouches as a topper a couple of times. I've never had any issues with the cats in the kitchen foods, though. I think the BFF are just too fish heavy.

Thanks everyone!
I have a recent rescue that we adopted in August, Binx. We've had a hard time finding food that he can keep down and this actually makes total sense to me now! He has only been able to eat chicken/turkey food. I think fish really messes with his system and even though my 3 girls eat it, he can't. I'm going to try and find fish free food. Hopefully they can all be on the same food eventually. [emoji]128161[/emoji][emoji]10024[/emoji]
