Hi everyone, my baby Leah is 6 month old and she was spayed 6 days ago. The day she came back from the surgery, she was extremely active. I tried my best to restrict her but nothing worked. She refused to wear her cone (e-collar), she kept taking it off, we even bought her the inflatable cone prior to the surgery, I quickly tried putting that on her instead of the plastic one and she wasn't having it. She was stressed out and agitated. My only solution was to make her a sweater out of a sock which helped a lot. I stayed home with her for the entire week, monitoring her incision (checking and even smelling it).
She was fine until the 3rd day where I started to notice her incision was getting dried up and some parts had tiny blood spots due to scabbing. As a nervous mom, I called the emergency line from the place where we had her spayed and they asked me to send them pictures. I did and when they called back they said that her incision is healing nicely but it's the little lump that got them a little concerned. The little lump had been there since we got her back and I didn't even pay any attention to it. They told me to give her warm compresses which I did, and that following night her little tiny lump turned into a bigger lump underneath her incision. The next morning (yesterday) the lump got even bigger, it turned from an olive size into a ping pong ball size. Last night I took her into the emergency room, where she was injected with the antibiotic shot called CONVENIA. The vet told me to monitor her and the swelling should go down with time. Today this vicious lump increased in size. I want to wait another day or so to monitor her and if the lump doesn't go away, I will take her back to the vet.
Leah is completely her normal sweet self. Eating, drinking, going to the bathroom, playing, and cuddling like there isn't a care in the world, while I am here having a panick attack every time I look at her.
I think what she has is Seroma. I would appreciate any comments and help you can give me. Did this happen to anyone's baby?

This pictures were taken today!

To me it seems like some layer inside is infected. I would definitely take her back to get checked out.
