Sadden Hussein executed. Cool. Did not know that.

Some more American places to guess:

A city in New York State inspired perhaps by a Brönte?

A city in New York State that is also the capitol of an African nation.

A city in Minnesota that is also the name of a country in Europe.

A town in Minnesota that has a French name for a soggy place.

A town in Wisconsin where the water is always nice.

A city in Montana named for a small hill.

A city in Wisconsin that has two rhyming syllables.

You too!

There is a Charlotte New York, though: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlotte,_New_York but it is very small. I think i haven't read enough Bronte to recognize Rochester, lol.

Man, I pored over a list of every town in Minnesota and I totally didn't see Finland, darn it. . .oh, I looked it up and it's unincorporated. So maybe it wasn't on that list. I'll go with that ;).

Yay, Law and Order! (Those are all of the police partners on the various L&O shows)

I used to watch reruns of the original L&O literally every single day. So that led to the spinoffs, and I watched all of them. I haven't been watching SVU lately though. It has kind of jumped the shark at this point. If I happen to watch it, I still enjoy it, but it's not a must-see for me any more.

Which article of clothing was named after its Scottish inventor?
