Oh, that looks terrible! Did the vet have any ideas? Have you contacted the breeder?

Has the cat been around any chemicals? What are you feeding him?

Hi Dims88, Not sure what you mean by grabbing him, but does he come outside? Could he have been fighting? These wounds or infections don't look good at all.

I understand vets costs money but costs come with taking care of a pet. I would get this treated so it can't get out of hand and threaten the heath of this gorgeous, expensive beauty.

Maybe he's highly sensitive to the paint fumes?  That really looks awful - it's probably a very good idea that he's staying overnight at the vet's.  Poor little guy, he must be so uncomfortable.  Please let us know what the vet discovers.  Fingers crossed he recovers quickly!

I would wait to see what the vet says, and then contact the breeder. They need to know about this if it could have come from them. Ask the vet what he thinks about that.

Hopefully he will be well again soon. Please let us know what the outcome is from the vet!

It looks like pyoderma, which basically just means a skin infection but doesn't give any clue about what caused it unfortunately :(. Hopefully the vet can figure it out :vibes:.
