I have a 6 month old kitten who is a major climber and leaper. Just a little while ago, she decided to jump onto a table that has a table cloth with a small christmas tree on it. The table cloth slid off pulling the tree with it. Luckily,I caught the tree, so it shouldn't have hit her. However, she still had a fall. She took off and when I found her she was limping. She was still playing though. Running all around and jumping. I checked the leg and she is not a big fan of me touching the back left leg right above her ankle. Not so much on the bone, but the tendon/ligament or tissue. How worried should I be? Should I get her in tomorrow to the vet or wait until the next day to see if she just bruised it?

I occasionally will see my rowdy foster kittens limp. I usually wait a day or two before I am alarmed. It usually goes away- they could have just pulled a muscle, sprain, or bruise.  I would keep an eye on her, if she is eating, drinking, and getting around ok I would wait a couple of days. If it doesn't go away I would get her into the vet!
