I have been using earplugs on and off for a while now as my kitten sometimes wakes me up at night either meeowing or playing outside my door. I think they are great!

Things is I have to keep replacing them because when I get up and I am sleepy I put them on the bedside table. No sooner have I done that, Guinness has already knocked them off and rolled them under the bed! lol

I just thought I would tell you!

LOL...AWWWWW...Guinness probably misses you. I have been locking my cats IN my room with me so they don't whine at my roommate's door. It's worked brilliantly...one cat on either side of my bed.

My cats will steal my earplugs right out of my ears to play with. Fred, my oldest, will teach the younger ones to hook one claw in it, and slide it out. I woke up one night with Fred sitting on my pillow supervising Georgia in stealing my earplug. She grabbed it and ran off with it. The last time I moved, I found dozens of them under the couch.

That is the funniest thing I have read since someone posted their kitty flings poop not too long ago! LOL I can just imagine Fred coaching Georgia on the do's and don'ts of earplug stealing.

Please don't leave the earplugs where your kitten can get at them!! Some cats will eat them because they like ear wax. I recently treated a cat who got very ill and almost ended up having surgery due to ear plugs.

I don't intentionally leave them out for him
It's just when I wake up half asleep and go to the bathroom at 5am I put them on the bedside table (as said above). By the time I get back he's got at them and rolled them under the bed! lol
(they are foam earplugs not wax ones btw).

In future I will be more careful cos at this rate I will end up broke buying all these earplugs!
