Any one else buy a holiday gift for themselves?

I swear I do every year when I go out shopping. :lol3:

I usually end up buying something for me, too. (I usually end up buying something to me from me for my birthday as well.)

The Kate Spade is adorable, I love the color you decided on.  Which reminds me about the suede purple Coach I have somewhere in the house LOL. MUST FIND. 

Yes, I got myself an early Christmas gift, my new kitty Chloe.

Not yet but I will. Not sure what though. 

I just got a new 'everyday' winter coat.  I have a dress coat that I have had for years because I rarely wear it.  This would've been the sixth winter with the everyday coat that I had.  It probably would've lasted another winter but I went ahead and got a new one.  I went to Burlington so I got a good price.

I figured out what I want and ordered it. 
No surprise I got it in black. It goes with everything- just like black cats!

I still haven't figured out what I want yet. Maybe I'll wait and see what cookbooks I might get and buy from that after Christmas.

I ordered myself the bluray of Death Comes to Pemberly.  It was under $15; so does that count?    My husband is still asking what I want and I'm having a hard enough time answering him.  Usually I just tell him what i want and either order it myself or he will.  I get no surprises under the Christmas tree.

Sure it counts! 

My DH was the same way. He ordered what he wanted, gave it to me to wrap and I paid for it. There were a few things here and there that would be a surprise but for the most part, he knew what he was getting.

Excellent point and title of thread changed.

I have a lot of Coach bags and I've always wanted a Kate Spade. I bought it at Marshall's and I think it may have been mislabeled because the price was SO good.

Ooooohhhhh. Very nice. I've been trying to ignore all of the Coach emails I have been getting. It's hard to resist a good black bag. I just had to go count. I own 11 black bags, the bulk of which are Coach. :lol3:

Coach bags make a wonderful "self" gift. I am wanting a new pair of black leather knee boots. They are not in our local stores. Leather is hard to find. But I am watching a few pairs on E Bay. :lol3:

Yes, I'm going to splurge and buy myself a gift this year. It cost around $400.00 but I can't say what it is as it is not legal. LOL. I need a break.

This reminded me, totally forgot I just bought a pair of my first Ugg's. They were on sale 

Nice bags My great aunt had a vintage (<1960) never used Coach or maybe Gucci bag that I wanted but when she moved into assisted living she gave it (and most of her furnishings and stuff) away to the (greedy) person who had been helping her with some general light housekeeping

I don't usually buy anything for myself. This year I did, Well, sort of it. I ordered a custom address stamp with the cats' names on it. I got tired of hand writing our address on all the holiday cards to our cat friends.

Yes, I always buy myself something because no one will buy it for me because they don't know about it. It's never anything expensive, just something I need but wouldn't ordinarily buy.

DH and I bought a new TV for the family room at a pre black Friday sale. It really wasn't meant as a Christmas present - he just wanted one to watch the stuff on Thanksgiving as was tired of our old picture tube tv. It's a 40 inch Samsung, pretty nice.  I rarely watch TV anyway, nothing much worth watching these days.

I have now bought myself a purple raincoat.  It's Columbia brand and I got it online; so I'm really hoping it fits!!  I received a gift card that paid for part of it.  I got soaked after grocery shopping the other night. Right through my wool winter coat.  I need a water-proof winter coat too; but they are so expensive!  I can always try layering a fleece under the rain coat. 

i don't usually buy a holiday gift for myself, but this year will be making myself a special dessert for the upcoming Christmas holiday -- a 3-layer carob cake with carob cream cheese buttercream.
