I currently use Precious Cat litter for my two cats. I find that it falls apart especially cause one cat likes to pee on the side of the box and the clump then sticks to the side. I have to scrape it off the side and the clump falls apart. Any litters out there that can help with this? Odor control is a must! I switched to clay cause it seems to help with odor.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

I don't come from the same country as you do so I am unable to help with product choices but may I ask if your cat is on the larger side? My kittens had to move up to an extra large litter box when they started to grow too big for it ie when they had trouble turning around and scratching the top instead of the litter.

Walmart's clumping litter does hold together pretty good, I have one that pees on the side too. In fact had to put up a shield ( those thin flexible 'cutting boards') in the back of the box or urine goes everywhere.  I use Tidy Cat the most because it is the best I have found for odor control. I too would lieketo know of any better.

Does Tidy Cat clump better than Precious Cat, do you know? I want something that holds that urine together solid. :)

My cat is actually a kitten. 6lbs. And the litter box I use is the largest one I can find on the market. It's by Catit jumbo size. I would love a bigger one, but can't seem to find anything bigger.

I have 2 favorites. Fresh Step Extreme and Tidy Cats. Both clump like champs and are great with odor control.

May I ask what brand that is? Or are those the brands: "Fresh Step Extreme" and "Tidy Cats"?

I use Scoop Away Complete. ..you can get it at...Wal-Mart however if you have a Costco membership you get a 42 pound bag anywhere between $9-14 depending on where you live...in Hawaii it cost us $14 here in Florida it is about $9...I personally love it...my house doesn't smell like I have 2 cats...at all...and it clumps well...and I do not have to dump litter all the time...it lasts quite a long time...and it doesn't smell either when I dont change the whole litter box for awhile...hope this helps

I like the tidy cat light weight with the red lid.  It seems to clump pretty good and control odor.  It is expensive, but I rarely have to dump the whole litter box so in the long run I think it evens out.  The one thing I don't like about it is that it tends to stick to the cats paws a little more too and I know that can't be good for them...

I like the Tidy Cats with the black lid. It clumps very well.

You could also try a crystal litter. The urine doesn't clump but it does absorb very well and dry it out so you only need to change the litter about once a month. If you scoop out the yellow litter (the parts that have absorbed urine), you can get it to last even longer.
