Kitten Breath....BAD

Hello.  I just recently adopted two kittens from two different adoption centers.  My female kitten's breath is AWFUL.  It smells like rotten fish.  My other kitten, a boy, his breath is fine.  My other cats that I had when they were kittens did not have this issue.  Just trying to figure out if something is going on and if I need to take her into the vet.

They are only eating dry food at the moment and she's had the bad breath since I got her a week ago.  Any insight would be appreciated.

I would make sure there is nothing caught in her teeth. Although you only feed them dry doesn't mean she wasn't given something wet, like fish (since rotten fish smell) cat food before you got her that could have gotten stuck between teeth.

Depending on her age, it could also be that she's teething.
