Hi all,

I've been having troubles with one of my cats peeing on the leather sofa. I posted this story on another thread here earlier. This is a new leather sofa, so you can imagine how frustrating this has been. I now have it covered with a sofa cover and plastic. But what happened was that the urine got into the crevices between the sofa's cushions, so it's very hard to clean and especially hard to dry out. The cushions are non-removable, and the urine went through to the very bottom lining of the sofa. I purchased Nature's Miracle orange spray, and all out of it now - I've been using it like crazy. I bought more online today, another type of the same product, this one without the orange but says it destroys urine smell. I feel I need something really strong to penetrate into the stain to get rid of the smell, something that would go in between the crevices where I can't reach with my hands. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you!

It's that tight to get in there? Sounds like you may need to call a professional to come and clean it.. they have the tools to get into the crevices and I am sure they can deal with pet urine.

Hi Draco,

It's tight, but I can get in there somewhat. My worry is that while I can pour the cleaner in the crevices and scrub about a little, I can't air dry the area or do a real thorough job where the urine seeped to the bottom lining of the sofa. I need something that would get into the crevices, penetrate and destroy the smell without a lot of scrubbing and drying out of the areas hard to reach or keep open to air dry. It's not really bad because I am staying on top of this like a crazy cleaning person, but it's bad enough to where I can imagine the cats with their sense of smell must know it's there, and I can smell it if I put my nose right in there.
