It was snowing this morning, roads were not grand, ended up being late for work despite leaving home early
Even drove by cars that were stuck in ditches with crews and coppers assisting. Thankfully, my bosses are very understanding about that sort of thing!

For the first part of the day I wore my black suit uniform.

Thankfully the snowed died and the roads cleared up, and was fairly warmish at -3C.

Second part of the day, I was wearing my blue leotard, tights and a practice tutu for rehearsals for the Waltz of the Snowflakes
Such a fun number. Tiring, but fun. I'm also Drosselmeyer (Woo Gender bending!) Which is also fun. Everyone calls me crazy auntie Drosselmeyer now, which I improve.

Long busy day but thankfully a nice one overall.
You get to wear a tutu to work!

It's sunny but cold, just 38F

I'm in a t shirt and scrub pants because I'm at work. I'm going to change back into jeans, a long sleeved shirt, and sweater before I leave. There's no way I can wear all that doing my job in an 80F humid room

Happy birthday @Margd
brrrr!!! well, at least there's sunshine!

'an 80F humid room' sounds quite nice!

Happy Birthday, Margd!

Sunny, not too bad, right around 46, with a low of 34 tonight. I'll take it (especially since 34 will be our High come the weekend!)

I am wearing a light blue t-shirt, with a heavy-duty dark grey sweatshirt, navy blue sweat pants, and white socks. I am cleaning and doing Christmas decorating today, so old, comfy clothes are best. Just finished vacuuming, so am a bit sweaty right now.
sunny and around 46...that sounds good!

those sweats sound comfy!

HAPPY HAPPY BIRFDAI!!!

It is gray and cool here.  I'm wearing charcoal gray sweats, a matching long-sleeved tee with flowers on it, and thick, fuzzy socks.

It is in the 60s here in Avondale La. It is cloudy + gray at this moment. Being in the Greater New Orleans the weather may change anytime.

I am in a yellow night shirt and black shorts watching the Saints game. Oh yeah I have a beautiful calico cat on my lap.
60's sound great!
sounds like comfy clothes! and a beautiful calico cat on your lap too!

It has finally turned cold in the Carolinas. Today is going to be 44 degrees, with a low of 28 tonight. So farm I am still wearing my cotton flannel nightgown. :lol3:

It got progressively more cloudy and cool as the day went on.  We are expecting some rain tonight.  I'm in my pjs now; but I wore jeans and a light sweater to church today.  I changed to a long sleeved t-shirt and my thicker fleece jacket when we did some outside Christmas decorating.  We finished after the sun went down and now my bottom half is chilled.
ahhh, i'd take your rain over the snow we're getting here!
  sounds like nice comfy clothes!

'...and now my bottom half is chilled.'  -- time to get the wood stove going!

The weather was cold here today, in the forties. I had to go to church. So I dressed in my grey sweater dress, grey leggings, and black boots. To liven it up, I sported a red Coach bag. When I came home, I heated us some vegetable soup, put on my fleece robe and furry socks. I spent the afternoon in my rocker/recliner asleep most of the time.
brrrrr! chilly weather there.
that red Coach bag sounds like a very nice accent, splash of color!

i often have some hot soup, or hot oatmeal/farina, to warm me up too!
i'm glad you got warmed up and in soft warm clothes, and were able to nap during the afternoon. i went back to bed for a couple hours, late this morning. i figure that when i feel the need for more sleep, it's best to give in to it.

First snow of the season and 36 degrees.  The trees look like a winter wonderland.  Wore my sweatpants and shirt all day.  Except for going to the gas station to fill the tank for work tomorrow, I spent most of the day doing laundry.
that sounds so pretty!
sweatpants and shirt -- very nice!

We've had 7 inches of snow in the Chicago area, and it's 31F now. Supposed to be 38F tomorrow, so I expect some of the snow to melt. I've worn a sweatshirt and jeans all day, which got a little hot this afternoon when I baked some pumpkin bread. My neighbor clears our mutual driveway for me, so I thought he might like a loaf tomorrow.

Yes, winter is definitely here in the northern hemisphere. Summer must be breaking out for friends in the southern hemisphere. Would love to hear what it's like in Australia and New Zealand.
uuuugh!!! 7 inches of snow...
it sounds quite cold there too. it's currently 28 degrees F here, and snowing lightly. we're forecast to accumulate between 9 and 16 inches of snow by saturday evening.
i always hope for less snow than forecast.

sounds like comfy clothing!
and, mmmmmm......home baked pumpkin bread! i'm sure your neighbor who clears your mutual driveway will enjoy it.

yes, i'd love to hear what their weather is like from our members who live in the southern hemisphere too!

I'm wearing a light green tee shirt, black pants and trying to find something to tie up my hair which will stay.
ahhh, a balmy 89F!
i'd even happily take the humid and wet part. and a light green tee shirt and black pants! very nice!

Cold! It was about 10 C this afternoon, but as soon as the sun goes down it drops to around freezing. At least it's bright and sunny during the day.

I'm wearing fluffy slippers, big thick socks, underwear, thermal leggings with thick cotton leggings over the top, a thermal fleecy long sleeved shirt and a huge black sweater over that. Oh, and a fluffy black neck warmer that I sometimes push up as a head warmer.

And eye liner and mascara.

brrrr!!!
but also bright and sunny during the day...

now you sound like you must be nice and toasty warm......or very cold, and trying to get warmed up!
and eye liner and mascara too!

It's currently 4°C/39°F, but was -5°C/23°F when I left this morning. Since I had a 25-minute walk and then another hour's walk with a dog, I put on a thermal undershirt, fleece top, thermal tights, knee socks and jeans, a down parka and thermal gloves.

It's been rather cold here for several weeks.
cold!!!
it sounds like you dressed well for being out in the cold!

28 degrees F  when I got up, supposed to be in the 50's today, very warm for this time of the year. But mother nature makes up for it, by Wednesday, highs in the 20's lows in the single digits for two days, then a slight warm up again. I have to check all the heated huts to make sure they are heating, refill the heated water bowls and make sure there is hard food available fro who ever wants it, they need a lot of extra calories in that type of weather. (my two outside cats have fattened up nicely for the winter!) Oh, and refill the bird feeders, hang suet, and fill the squirrel feeder.  We tried to get those two outside babies to spend the night night in the heated shop, but they totally wanted out and started freaking out so we didn't push it. Today I am wearing jeans and a sweatshirt, my usual attire, Wed. and Thurs. will probably add a T-shirt under that. The cold is finally here!
up into the 50's, very nice weather!!!
we're forecast to get down into the twenties during the days and teens during the nights coming up this week......
i'll be switching to heavier clothing for that -- a thermal top, and sweat shirt and pants.

ahhh, you take good care of your outdoors friends!

  cold and some snow...
i'm already wanting the snow and cold weather to be over with, and it's just started here!
