Does my cat has mammary cancer? PLEASE HELP! :(

Hello! I just created an account here because I really need some advice. Ok, first of all, I have a 2 year female cat named Akira. She was recently spayed on November 9th, 2016. She was pregnant, for the second time when this happened. So she had an abortion as well. Everything went well and I had her apart from my other cats for two full weeks until she healed. I took off her E-Collar on the second week and put her back with my other cats. So, just recently I noticed there is a bump on her last right nipple, like on the side of it. It was kinda hard to the touch but it didn't seemed to hurt her. I took her immediately that same day to the vet and he said maybe it had something to do with her stitches. The stitches were internal, so she didn't had to go back to get them taken out. I was freaking out a little and asked him if it was by any chance cancer or something bad. He told me not to worry about and that I should wait two weeks to see if it had come down. Well, that was 3 days ago. Today I decide to check on her again and now there is a tiny hole on the side of her breast! It's about the size of a pin head. not on the nipple, but on the side, and its oozing some light yellow discharge, with no odor. I decide to call the vet again and ask what is up with that but unfortunately they couldn't give me an answer because I have to take her in. And it cannot be today because they are too busy (they said) and I have to wait until Monday. She doesn't seem to be in pain but this is really scaring me!!! :( I don't know what to do or what to think. This has never happened to any of my cats before and I have no idea what it can be. Maybe an infection? I don't know, but I'm here thinking the worse. I don't know how I'll get through the rest of the weekend without knowing or having an idea of what could be happening to her. So, can someone please give me some insight? I will post some pictures so you guys can see the affected area. 1 of them is from today, the one in which you can see the hole. And the other was 3 days back when I first noticed the lump. Please help me, and thank you!!!

Hi,

we obviously can't diagnose it, but it looks very concerning to be honest.  Hopefully just an open infection.  Let us know what you find out.

I am a human doctor, not a vet, and any comment that I make about a cat should be checked with a veterinarian.  Also, bearing in mind how notoriously difficult it is to make a diagnosis from a photograph, I have to say that carcinoma of the breast is usually a lump in the breast tissue, rather than in a nipple and doesn't usually develop in only three days.  Cancer can occur in a nipple,  but the history is rather short, and the photograph, for what it is worth, appears more like an inflammation.

Don't worry too much over the weekend, it is NOT definite that  this is a cancer, your vet reassured you specifically on that and told you not to worry - so don't! 

In any case your vet will be able to make a diagnosis on Monday,
