I have a Siamese and a Siberian. Just out of curiosity I would like to know how the kittens would turn out. I'm asking people who have personal experience.

Thank you.

How old are your cats? Are you seriously considering breeding them? Are they pedigree? Do you have a mentor? Are they health tested? Are you prepared to risk the health of your girl? Are you prepared to pay for medical emergencies? Are you prepared to find excellent homes for potential kittens and keep those you cannot rehome?

Some things to consider.

I will also say that living with two intact cats is not a pleasant or healthy experience. They cannot be allowed to interact except when you are ready for a litter as your female can get pregnant at any time, even without going into heat. You should not allow more than one litter per year. 3-4 lifetime total. Mating is painful for your female. Litters are expensive!

An intact male will spray in your house. Intact cats are at risk of reproductive cancers and each heat has the risk of pyometria for your female.

im wondering how the mix would look thats all. Im having arguments with friends. We love cat and they are two females(on the picture). It would be "borrowing a siamese male". I had my siberian for two years now and i am curious about it. Id love to have information. And no worries I am a stay at home woman and I have time for cats. I have alot of potential buyers and the kittens would all come dewormed with shots. People would pay around 300$. I am also wondering if it would destroy my siberian body. If so... Id feed the baby with formula after she mother feed them for abit ( i dont know still informing myself). Will my siberian have hudge tits? She has the cuttest belly. I am giving myself a year to prepare for it, and inform myself. Dosent hurt to ASK :3

Please don't plan to take the kittens away from her to preserve her body. There is always a risk to her body if you allow her to get pregnant and deliver. It is a big risk to mom. It would also be cruel.

However, the kittens will need to stay with mom until they are rehomed at 10-12 weeks.

I would highly recommend that you foster a pregnant mom for a shelter before you consider mating your girl. There are so many cats that need homes.

You dont understand.. Sometime the mother drains all her nutriments from feeding the kittens. So i would do the formula after and with her with the baby bottles to feed the kittens. So she dosent have hudge tits! And dies cuz she gets sicks !

I do understand. This is the risk you are taking if you decide to breed. Mom's body may change and you are risking her health. Taking the kittens away from her early is not a solution.

The kittens need to feed from mom if she is able to provide adequate milk. It is safer and healthier for the kittens.

Please think about the fostering idea before you go any further with your cats.

Yes, that's a great thought. As much as you love your girl, it's probably best for her to be happy, healthy, safe, and your beloved pet. You may want to consider spaying her for health reasons too.

You can always help a cat in need if you want a kitten fix! There are so very many in need.

She is 2 years and she havent been spayed and she is great ! I am all over her and omg she is awesome and i probably keep her mind off the heat cuz once i saw yer being in heat at 8 months! So i dont know. She was screaming and doing this showing her pussy thing for the male (dead now due to kidney failure). And was ok. I am blessed with her omg i wish she could have babys like her but i love her sooooo much and i dont wanna hurt her lil body :') .. My step dad spayed his kitten and the surgery her belly droped and she cant get touch on her belly . I think the operation will make her very mad and sad . I am affraid i can deal with her future heat. I love her

Spaying her is much better for her long term health and complications are rare. Each heat is very hard on her body. In addition, it increases the risk of reproductive cancer. There is also pyometria, an infection of the uterus that is fatal if untreated. Silent heats, which she may have, are no less stressful.

Is your other girl spayed?

Like I said, there are rarely complications. The belly dropping is actually normal with age and can happen to spayed or unspayed cats.

Ah. Then you will probably want to have them both done. Otherwise there can be a lot of territorial issues.

If you don't want her to have huge nipples, don't breed her. She will get them even before the kittens arrive. She'll be a lot healthier if you spay her.
