He was a stray outside my apartment and I took him in but have no idea what type of cat he is. Thanks for your help!

I dont see very much, but I think he is a domestic.   Black in color, and probably medium long hair - if his tail is bushy it will be confirmed.

Tx a lot for helping this little guy.    I think you both did won in the lottery of life.   :)
