Does anybody know anything about a rescue operation call cathavenranch out of Pineville Missouri?

I was thinking of it as an option to just placing my soon to be relocated TNR colony. To read their website it sounds much better the the "find a farmer who wants barn cats" option.
Of course this would be dependent on them being accepted.

Please look at their website and let me know what you think.

Only two things caught my eye:

One is no inspection or visits to the ranch

Second is the medical requirements, which I understand, but are expensive $135/cat through their vet if they do not meet their medical requirements.

For me that would be times 8.

But if anybody has heard of them...good or bad please let me know.

I remember the stories about that cat sanctuary in Florida that got such great press until people began to really look then they found dead and starving mistreated cats. Really sad.

I'm not familiar with them but their Facebook page looks relatively active and there a few people there recommending them. I would try and get in touch with these people to hear more about long-term satisfaction. Good luck!

Is it this one?

I don't know anything about them either, but if you look on their homepage under "Look Around" they are asking for volunteers. Are they very far from you? I wonder if they would allow you to volunteer there in return for a discount on their medical fees? That would give you chance to check up on your cats too.

Yes it is norachan. I sent them an email Friday late about adoption but have not heard back.

They are about 60 miles from me down in the hills, as they say.

I know that country and can fully understand why they try to keep their address and location secret. If the locals knew of it there would be all kinds of mischief and worse.

Will report more if they get back with me.

I just keep thinking of that Florida case a few years ago. That was horrible!
