Does anybody know anything about a rescue operation call cathavenranch out of Pineville Missouri?
I was thinking of it as an option to just placing my soon to be relocated TNR colony. To read their website it sounds much better the the "find a farmer who wants barn cats" option.
Of course this would be dependent on them being accepted.
Please look at their website and let me know what you think.
Only two things caught my eye:
One is no inspection or visits to the ranch
Second is the medical requirements, which I understand, but are expensive $135/cat through their vet if they do not meet their medical requirements.
For me that would be times 8.
But if anybody has heard of them...good or bad please let me know.
I remember the stories about that cat sanctuary in Florida that got such great press until people began to really look then they found dead and starving mistreated cats. Really sad.
