Hello from Canada

Hi everyone! I've already posted in a couple of places, so I thought I'd say hello here.

Two years ago I rescued a 2-year-old spayed female from a shelter. Her name is Mia. The shelter had rescued her from an abandoned building that was frequented by drug users.


This past Monday I adopted another shelter cat, a 2-year-old spayed female. Her name is Chloe. The shelter rescued her from behind a Canadian Tire store along with her two kittens.


They haven't met yet, as Chloe is having a feline herpes flare-up. The cat  sanctuary she was at had an open house the day before we picked her up, and all the noise and people (100!) stressed her out.

I hope we can introduce them soon, as they are both super laid-back and even love belly rubs!

Welcome  to you,  Mia and Chloe!      They really are beautiful cats.  Chloe looks very content - she must be so happy to be home at last!    As for little Miss Mia - what an intense look on that sweet face.     Is she winning the game?

Thanks, everyone! Yes, she is the game! haha  Mia always looks at me as though she has to much to say, and wishes she could speak. She even tilts her head.

How far is that from Oshawa and Peterborough?

I went to both places back in the 1970s.

So long ago, rolling fields.

About an hour and a half from Oshawa, and just over two hours from Peterborough.

Just up the road a piece!

Ontario is huge, bigger than Ohio Indiana Pennsylvania combined
