My kitty seems to have tired red looking eyes sorta....anyone got any idea what it could be? It doesn't look too bad but it also doesn't look normal... He's going to the vet early next week for vaccinations so I'll probably ask his opinion then. Thanks in advance

I might be missing something, but he looks normal to me.  Pigmentation in the iris is not always even and it's not uncommon to have reddish areas.   Check out the "Show Me Your Eyes" thread and you'll see what I mean. Post # 1998 is a good example:http://www.thecatsite.com/t/264173/show-me-your-eyes/1980

Your kitten has Scottish fold-like ears, which often give cats a plaintive appearance.  I'm wondering if this is why his eyes seem tired?

It's very hard for me to tell from the photo so I agree that asking the vet is a good idea.  Please let us know what (s)he says!

Thanks! Yeah he is actually a Scottish fold c: my main concern I guess was with the outter edges of the eyes...they tend to be reddish especially when he wakes up from a nap and I didn't know if that was normal or not. The cats I've owned in the past have been black so the skin around their eyes have been black.

Ah, I see what you mean now.  I think that's probably just normal but again, it's worth asking the vet.  He's really an adorable little guy.  What's his name?
