im so scared for my cat

So okay heres the story:
My cat luna is the youngest something like a teenager. Usually shes really hyper, running Around fat and happy. LOVES to talk and not shut up but thats just her. Now before we took her to the vet i didn't notice her for awhile and i really cant tell how long, maybe a week? I remember i picked her up and she sqeaked REALLY loud like something hurt. She still purrs when shes being pet though. And was VERY light. So we took her to the vet the next day and took xrays and saw that some soft tissue was swollen and gave us pain medication. I know theres little treats to put the meds in but she wont eat anything, she wont even react to cat nip like she loves. I have to force her to eat her meds and she hates me i know it. Its been a week or so after the vets and she still seems weird. She rarely leaves under the bed and im not sure if she's using the bathroom.
She doesnt seem to react to the spot where it was swollen anymore but something else now, she still doesnt like being picked up.
I dont know if shes ever gonna go back to her happy self. Im so terrified for my furry baby. I want her happy ans social again so bad its too quiet in the house now.
Please im desperate. I love her so much.

I'm so sorry.  I think you need more aggressive vet intervention.  A diagnosis would be very helpful too if possible.

what med is your cat taking?  some can be used by being rubbed on the inside of the cat's ear, others can be compounded into a liquid that can be added to gravy from cat food.

where is the swollen tissue, and did the vet give you a diagnosis?
