Kitten with ear trouble

Hello. We recently acquired a kitten from someone. They found it outside. He is extremely loving and sweet. He has a vet appt tomorrow but he has something on his ear that is concerning me. In front of the ear is red and a little bloody with some fur missing. T hen on the actual ear there is a spot yellow crusty spot with red outline. He had fleas very bad when we got him. We washed him and treated him him kitten revolution. Could this be flea allergy or something else. Like I said he has appt tomorrow afternoon but thought I would ask here until then thanks for any help.

What did the Vet say?

The vet said that it was just from over scratching from being so invested with fleas. It was like a flea party on the poor guy when I got him. The one on his ear he said is just a healing wound. This morning he woke up and had another little patch missing above his eye, I called the vet and he still said same thing but that if he continues to get more spots to bring him back in.

Good to hear he is doing well. He must be feeling so much better. Does he have a name?

He is named King tut we have a female cat who is named cleopatra so it was only fitting. My son has aspergers and he is obsessed with Egypt lol.

I believe he is feeling much better. The person who found him only had him few days before we got him but he was in poor shape so believe he was on his own for a while. He had worms, fleas and his fecal come back with that toxoplasmosis as well so he was probably catching his food for a while. We just got all his test back so we have slowly been introducing him to rest of house and he couldn't be happier. Sorry long update lol thank you for checking up on him.
