Not since living in an apartment.
   I love dogs.

Do you own a car over 15 years old?  My last car was 26 years old and still running like a top when I parted with it.

My Honda Civic is a 1999 model. It runs great but the automatic locks and rear defrost don't work anymore, the automatic windows are iffy, and the headlights fade in and out. But the heat and AC work, and it's never had engine trouble. . .:D. It will flip over to 300,000 miles soon.

Have you ever owned a brand new car?

Yes 5 times. The last one a Chevrolet model Chevette I had it for 20 years and then gave it to one of my grandsons. He kept it for 5 more years and then sold it cheaply to a friend of his. I believe it is still running "happily".  My present car a Chevrolet Corsa I bought 5 years ago. It will be my last car.

Do you own a luggage rack for your car?

No, I don't.

Have you ever owned a car you loved but also regretted? I bought a '75 Mercury Marquis back in 1977and, it was beautiful but costly to operate.

No, but my mom did. She used it once - it was a huge amount of  work, and a small amount of ice cream.

Do you own a garlic press? I'm contemplating one; what's the good or bad?

Yes. A garlic press is nice because it squishes the garlic into little tiny pieces so you don't have to mince it with a knife. Saves time! The bad part is that it's a little hard to clean.

Do you own a garlic peeler? I just bought one but haven't used it yet. It's just a silicone tube, you're supposed to roll the garlic cloves in it and the skin is supposed to come right off without much effort.

Of course, I have cats who like to walk on it, I can't wash the duvet so I cover it and wash the cover.

Do you own a garden?

Yes, although it's more like a mini truck patch. Last year we didn't put one out; we may try it this year and hope we get enough rain to water the veggies. I will say that it grows the food for us.

Do you have (and use) a compost pile? (We have three piles now: one for the new stuff, one for the stuff in progress, and one for the stuff ready to be spread.)

My garden is one big compost pile. All of the "bad food", peelings, etc. go straight into the garden under the wood chips used to cover the ground. Any decayed leaves, etc., the same. Over time, it adds up.

Do you own a chipper shredder? I do, 300 HP will shred and chip palm leaves, not an easy thing to do.
