Yes - but only tourist destinations, sadly.  Cairo and Alexandria; Algiers, Tangier, Casablanca, Cape Town and Nairobi (and the Game Preserve there for the usual one-day "camera safari").

Only once I made, and I guess it is not really exotic but complicated; Julia Child's Crown Pork Roast. It was very difficult but turned out well.

It's impossible to say, I admire Springsteen, I love a lot of Nick Cave's stuff when he was with the Badseeds. Leonard Cohen, and the Velvet Underground.
