I didn't know how to search for this, but my 17 pound 1 year old neutered male cat (and his 2 year old 8 pound sister) has a Pioneer Pet Stainless Steel Raindrop fountain. He drinks out of it fine, but he also likes to play in the water. He is now strong enough to move / remove the lid covering the spout that makes it flow. The result is that it spouts all over the place. Making a mess and a dangerous situation if the pump runs dry. Any recommendations on how to secure the lid? Any recommendations on a one piece, difficult to tip fountain? We live in an apartment and he is a totally indoor cat.

There are only two pieces and both are heavy ceramic. The motor is located under the square piece in the middle of the larger bottom square.
