Hi. My cat Princess had three kittens a week ago Saturday. I found her between 9-10 pm with two kittens. She had the third at 1;30am. Im not sure she cleaned after as i was asleep. She is taking care of these three very good. Her stomach still seems big and fat. I felt her stomach today and its kinda hard. She is still eating very well and bounces around. Should i watch for any signs that i should take her to a vet? Thanks!

As long as she is not in distress you can wait. She may have more kittens to deliver if her tummy is still hard. Time will tell. [emoji]128522[/emoji]

She seems saggy now... Almost been two weeks. She started to move the kittens today.... I had them in a basket and she/they were fine... Then she moved them tonight and seems to want nothing to do with them, she is still eating and drinking tho. I checked her nipples an seems to not be making much milk like she was.. Should i be worried about her moving them and not acting like shes taking care of them now? When they would cry she would run to them now she acts to not even care. This is her second litter. Her first litter all died and were very small and there was 5 of them. She had got mastitis and i lost them all.

First, you need to move them out of that basket asap. Little heads can get stuck. Do you have a box?

Second, can you keep mom 100% inside and away from intact males? She may already be going into heat again and she cannot be allowed to get pregnant. Do you plan to spay her?

Third, please start weighing the kittens every day. You need to make sure that they are gaining an appropriate amount every day. If not, you will need to supplement them.

Are you feeding mom unlimited dry kitten food and meals of wet kitten food per day?

Can you keep mom in a room with food, water, her litter box, and the babies? She needs to be kept with them, and you may need to step in.

Make sure that mom nurses the kittens at regular intervals, but it's normal for her to take breaks.
