Here's the story:
I fed my cat some coconut milk I was cooking with and it did not agree with her at all (I'm very dumb for doing this, but since she has no problem with coconut oil I thought it would be ok) She has had diarrhea since (about 2.5 days now) and threw up her dinner (raw beef) 1.5 days ago.
The vomiting made me nervous so I called my vet and she prescribed 2.5mg of Pepcid (once daily) and a tbsp of chicken baby food to be fed about every 2 hours. I began this yesterday and luckily she has not vomited, but she still has diarrhea (obviously since she is barley eating there is not a lot coming out, but she's still gone 3 times today and it's 11am).

Anyway, my question for the board is what meat should I use to start to reintroduce food? She is on a raw diet (chicken and or beef, liver and TC feline mix). I want to cut up small pieces of meat and give it to her slowly but I'm wondering if I should go with beef or chicken? What is easier to digest?
I feel like the chicken babyfood is probably contributing to her diarrhea bc she used to get sick from wet food...

Any tips are greatly appreciated!

If you can try and get ahold of some slippery elm and make some slippery elm syrup to give her. You can mix it in baby food or syringe. I'd also consider giving her probiotics as well if you aren't already. It's debatable whether or not coconut oil is good or safe for cats, so i would steer clear of all of the above. Baby food is pretty simple as long as you're giving food that doesn't have any garlic or onions, or likely that's not causing the diarrhea. Chicken is usually easier to digest than beef.
